Back in 2011 we visited Bolton College to conduct a case study on how they were using our trolleys. Four years later we revisited the college to see how our Mentor™ units fit the bill and if the quality has been what the college has expected.
Bolton College is one of the North West’s largest providers of vocational training and further education for young people, adults and employers. The college is committed to providing the best, most relevant and enjoyable opportunities and equipment to its learners. In September 2010, the college relocated to a state of the art campus. In order to create a more interactive and flexible style of learning, the college invested heavily in laptops for every classroom. With over 1,100 laptops for use by students, the college needed an effective and intelligent solution to securely store and charge their equipment. Requiring storage and charging facilities, the college turned to LapSafe® Products for their ICT charging and management solutions.
Bolton College took delivery of their very first Mentor™ laptop trolley just over seven years ago and now have 36 Mentor™ trolleys across the college campus.
As IT Operations Manager, Railton Knott explains, “Strength was key when we needed to look at purchasing our trolleys. We’d invested heavily in our ICT so we needed trolleys to be robust and expected them to last.
