Time flies when you are having fun! Over the last seventeen years’ technology used within schools has changed, almost year on year. Some changes have been for the better and some may be not so, but whatever your views of technology use within schools, the Bett Show has been a great platform for educators and technicians to see innovation at its best.
Way back at Bett 2000, LapSafe® launched the first ever storage and charging trolley which was designed to deploy small volume mobile computer devices whilst offering recharging and full network/internet connectivity. Now a common resource in schools but in the early days of ‘Laptops for Teachers’ and ‘Anytime, Anywhere Learning’, it was all new and even a little bit scary.
Since then Bett has been the launch pad for LapSafe® to showcase its new innovative products, year on year. We’ve seen the requirement for device charging change dramatically over the years, from the initial management of expensive laptops to handheld PDA’s, then the introduction of smaller laptops to netbooks, back to larger laptops and then on to iPads, tablets, Chromebooks and Microsoft Surface! No matter what devices are used within the Education sector, LapSafe® has provided the right device management solution at the right time.
As a British manufacture LapSafe® specialise in providing safe power management solutions and all its products meet or exceed all required safety standards, HSE guidelines, and have always been independently CE Certified. User safety is LapSafe®’s number one priority and its patented power management system is second to none.
LapSafe® have exhibited at Bett for the last seventeen years and have launched a new product, or product enhancement to their range every year. Often designed around feedback received from its customers and/or visitors to the exhibition, LapSafe® listen to their customer’s needs. Bett isn’t all about launching new products, it is an opportunity for educators to meet, share ideas and learn, increasing their own personal development as well.
With seventeen years of LapSafe® stand design, exhibition planning and management under her belt, Denise Crouch, Head of Sales & Marketing at LapSafe® said that Bett is still the most challenging, yet exciting on her yearly event calendar. “It has been a very busy year for the team and we are excited to announce that the popular ClassBuddy™ range has been expanded for 2017! The ClassBuddy™ offers an unrivalled and cost effective solution to store, charge and even update or synchronise your devices. Its unique power management incorporates soft-start, surge and residual voltage protection as standard. This trolley range now has two new additions, a wall and desk unit. Both will be on display at Bett 2017 along with the rest of the ClassBuddy™ range.
We are also excited to be in a new location for 2017 and you can find us on stand E350. Here you can also pick up our #IWannaWin competition cards, with a chance to enter our daily prize draw”.
