University of Huddersfield Device Loan Revolution Showcase at UCISA #ussc17

A recent survey carried out by LapSafe® has revealed that 44% of UK Universities have now automated their laptop/tablet loan service within or outside the university libraries. The university of Huddersfield are one of the many university’s that have joined the self-service device loan revolution.

LapSafe® first worked with Wayne Winterbottom, IT Support Manager at the University of Huddersfield in 2013 when the first of the Diplomat LMS Laptop loan lockers were installed at the university. Four years later the service offered to students continues to grow.

We were proud to have partnered with Wayne who presented a partner showcase on the University of Huddersfield at the UCISA Support Services Group conference #ussc17 in Bristol on Wednesday 5th July. The presentation was streamed ‘Live’ but if you missed it you catch up and watch it here.
