The Bett show 2016 saw the launch of our brand new indigo range of products. The range consisting of a Hub, Wall, Desk and Cart are both aesthetically pleasing and offer space saving solutions
Head of Sales and Marketing, Denise Crouch said in her launch speech “To keep up with ever changing needs of the education sector, LapSafe® have always been at the forefront of technology and design for device management. Each year at Bett we have launched new products or enhanced existing ones and this year is no exception. The range has been 18 months in the making and is in keeping with our ethos of quality and safe products. It sports a new colour scheme, with aluminum look trims and secure aluminum shutter doors. The whole range has been designed to offer space saving solutions”.
Denise then introduced Business Development Director, Mark Exley who is the person behind the design. Scissors in hand, Mark cut the ribbon to officially launch the new range.
The rest of the week went by so quickly and the stand was a buzz with visitors from all over the UK and overseas. It was wonderful to meet up with some old friends and customers and make plenty of new ones. The feedback from IT Managers, Technicians and teachers regarding the new Indigo range couldn’t have been more pleasing, they loved the quality and look of the range. The new Indigowall unit that offers ‘charge only’ or ‘charge & sync’ for up to 16 devices was really popular due to its ultra-slim size and no protruding doors. The wall unit’s innovative and space saving design is a must where space is of a premium.
Visitors saw for themselves just how the dynamic the Diplomat™LMS self-service, multi-bay locker system can be. Designed to safely charge laptops and other similar devices whilst also operating a device loan service. Over 50% of UK’s universities have already deployed the self-service device loan system already and many are increasing their original deployment. One customer visiting the show said “Our library team have found this of real benefit as it has allowed them to get out from behind the desk and actually be with students, teaching them more important study skills and this has really added value to the library service”.
All in all, Bett 2016 was very hard on the team’s feet but the week was an outstanding success for all those involved.
