LapSafe® offer two types of laptop charging; ChargeLine™ offers charging by using the laptop’s own AC adaptor plugged into a standard 3 pin 13 amp socket inside the module. SmartLine™ offers our unique ‘Low Voltage Ultra-Safe Smart charging’ system which eliminates the use of multiple AC adaptors in the trolley, saving huge amounts of time in the classroom.
With more mobile devices being made available to students, LapSafe® realises that M-learning is fast becoming the way forward in Education with the use of mobile technology greatly enhancing the learner’s experience. LapSafe® have therefore developed a range of modules that fit inside the range of storage and charging trolleys and cabinets that provides safe power management and charging for Ultra Mobile Personal Computers (UMPCs), devices that can be charged via a USB connection (e.g. Mobile phones, Digital cameras etc) and using the manufacturers charging cradle, PDAs.
LapSafe® is also pleased to confirm that any Mentor™ ChargeLine™ unit can be used as an iPad charging trolley, using the iPad’s own AC adaptor. Due to the unique modular design of the Mentor™ range, any ChargeLine™ unit can even store and charge a mix and match of iPads and other laptops or netbooks.
In all cases our power management system manages the power so that all laptops charge simultaneously in the fastest possible time without over-charging or blowing fuses or tripping circuit breakers. Watch charging and options video
