The LapSafe® Diplomat™ LMS provides students and teachers with individual access, allocation, and deployment to securely stored and safely charged laptops or tablets using an intelligent access control system. Functionality

The self service Diplomat™ LMS from LapSafe® Products is a multi-bay modular locker system designed to store, safely charge and deploy laptops and other similar devices to users via a 19” touch screen interface.

Simple to use; after identifying themselves with either MiFare™, biometric, barcode or magnetic swipe, a couple of touches and a student is issued a best charged laptop for their individual use.

With full LMS integration, the student is identified that they are allowed to borrow a device, the LMS is notified of the loan. A quick and simple receipt is provided to the student after agreeing to the terms and conditions of the establishments ‘self service’ loan pool.

With students easily distracted, if they do not re-identify themselves at the given laptop locker within a given timeframe the loan is automatically cancelled.

With our SmartLine™ with PowaSave® charging system, we can ensure that all laptops are charged simultaneously in the fastest possible time and only deploy a laptop with a reasonable charge to a student. At all times the best charged laptop is always deployed as a priority. With PowaSave® when all laptops are charged, our power supplies are automatically switched off, until the next device needs charging. Saving you power, money and reducing your carbon footprint.

Individual user bays are the optimum size to store most makes and models of laptop or netbook. Available from 12 bays, the Diplomat™ LMS self service modular locker system can be tailored to suit the user’s needs.

The Diplomat™ locker system exceeds all required British Safety Standards, has been independently CE Certified and meets HSE guidelines.

Construction

Manufactured in the UK, the Diplomat™ LMS has a steel chassis, continuous hinge and doors, fitted with some of the latest high security electronic locks providing over 150kg of resistance if attacked. We continue to source recycled steel (approx. 70%) to ensure we have a minimal impact on the global resources.

The latest manufacturing techniques are employed to consistently produce a high quality product.

The Diplomat™

The Diplomat™ from LapSafe® Products is a multi-bay modular locker system designed to store and safely charge laptops and other similar devices. Individual user bays are the optimum size to store most makes and models of laptop, netbook or tablet and offer a safe charging environment for access by users of all ages.

The Diplomat™ features either standard Camlock locking or fully integrated RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) keyless security system. The RFID systems delivers an extremely functional access management, deployment, and control alternative to keys. Our RFID is compatible with the popular MIFARE™ and Nedap™ systems.
