Laptop stolen in burglary

A WOMAN who had her laptop pilfered by a burglar is offering a reward for information leading to its return.
Angela Neale, of Watford, returned to her home just before 2am on Sunday, to discover that it had been broken into.
She said: "I smelt a funny smell, went in and found that the back door was wide open.
"I thought there might have been someone around, so I went to the police station and they came back with me to check it out."
The intruder was not there when they returned and it was discovered that Ms Neale's Sony Vaio, lilac coloured, limited edition, laptop had been taken.
Ms Neale said: "I may have disturbed the person by coming in and they might have just had time to grab my computer on the way out.
"I always thought that I'd not be very affected by this sort of thing, but I'm actually quite traumatised.
"I keep reliving Saturday night."
Ms Neale, who works as a solicitor in London, is in the process of writing a crime-based novel which was stored on her laptop.
She had just printed out the manuscript, but is still keen to get the £1,300 computer back.
She is offering a £200 reward for information that leads to the return of the laptop.
