LapSafe® Products launches UnoCart™ for iPad

The UK’s ICT charging and security expert is pleased to introduce the latest addition into its market leading range of laptop trolleys, the UnoCart™ for iPads charging trolley.

Engineered in the UK by LapSafe® Products, the UnoCart™ for iPads charging trolley is designed to far exceed the abilities of its rivals at a competitive price. The iPad charging cart incorporates safe sync and charging for one MacBook or laptop in 16 and 32 bay iPad versions, enabling fully-charged tablets to be shared between classrooms and buildings.

LapSafe® Products has observed a steady increase in the use of iPads within the education sector, in addition to the widespread use in the mass marketplace, with teachers using the device to promote interactive learning. The UnoCart™ for iPads is designed to cater for the ever evolving needs of those within education and of market sectors across the world.

Complete with a unique ChargeLine™ 13 amp plug socket inside the unit, the UnoCart™ iPad charging trolley provides secure overnight storage space for a MacBook, allowing iPads to sync to the machine using iTunes. The product has been cleverly designed to include effective USB cable management and a top mounted socket with USB connectivity for the MacBook. For optimum security, a NoteLok™ security cable has been built into the charging trolley to secure the MacBook whilst on top of the cabinet during the synchronisation process.

Unlike tablet charging trolleys by other manufacturers, the UnoCart™ for iPad charging trolley charges iPads horizontally without pull out shelves, which can cause instability and risk the cabinet toppling over. The rear of the unit features a service access door for ICT technician use to prevent access by students. The front and rear doors also utlise different locking systems to guard against theft of the devices stored inside.

Three charging options are available with the charging trolley: ‘Sync only’, ‘Charge only’ and ‘Sync and Charge’. A factory setting or training can be given to provide scheduled ‘Sync and Charge’ cycles to be communicated to the iPads. The UnoCart™ iPad charging trolley offers full rate iPad charging and 2.1A charging for synchronisation functionality.

As with all products manufactured by LapSafe® Products, the UnoCart™ for iPads has been independently CE Certified and meets HSE guidelines. For added safety and mobility, large braking wheels and 270° fold back fully opening doors are included, making the trolley very easy to use.

Although the UnoCart™ for iPads has been configured to charge and synchronise specifically with market leading iPads, the low cost ClassBuddy™ laptop trolley, the Mentor™ laptop trolley and the Diplomat™ laptop locker can also be configured to charge a range of tablet computers.
