ClassBuddy™ laptop trolley launched in a 30 bay version

The ClassBuddy™, the fast selling low cost laptop trolley from trusted brand LapSafe® Products, can now charge up to 30 laptops.

Engineered to a high quality in the UK, the new 30 bay ClassBuddy™ laptop trolley has been introduced in response to customer demand for a larger version of the increasingly popular ClassBuddy™ laptop 15. Launched at January’s BETT Show, the ClassBuddy™ is proving a hit with teachers and commercial clients looking to safely secure, and horizontally charge, laptops, tablets and netbooks in an aesthetically pleasing metal laptop trolley.

Compact, light and manoeuvrable, the cost-effective ClassBuddy™ charging trolley can now accommodate 15, 20 or 30 mobile IT devices, and includes quality castor wheels to enable equipment to be easily moved between classrooms and other buildings. The popular low cost laptop trolley is easy to use and charges laptops and netbooks using the devices’ original AC adaptors, which are simply, and safely, stored on the large shelves beside each device using cable ties and clips.

Constructed of 70 per cent recyclable steel, the ClassBuddy™ is not only designed to be more secure, robust and durable than laptop trolleys made of plastic or wood, but the low cost charging cart is well engineered to be more environmentally friendly than those made of difficult-to-recycle plastic. The ClassBuddy™ uses highly efficient natural ventilation to prevent laptops overheating, and thermostatically controlled fans are included with the Data Transfer Option for ultra-safe charging. The economical fans have been cleverly designed to save energy by only engaging when the laptop trolley requires them.

As with all laptop trolleys manufactured by LapSafe® Products, the ClassBuddy™ charging trolley complies with all HSE guidelines, British Safety Standards and is independently CE Certified to ensure the safety of the user. The ClassBuddy™ laptop trolley features LapSafe® Products’ power management system, which comes as standard with any laptop charging trolley sold by the brand, and has been a proven design for the last 11 years. All devices are safely charged simultaneously in the fastest possible time, and the laptop trolley features load protection (soft-start) to avoid tripping fuses. The laptop trolley comes complete with in-rush surge protection, mains conditioner and residual voltage protection (anti-backwash), to prevent any residual earth current leaking from the trolley once it has been switched off.

The ClassBuddy™ laptop trolley’s part-welded steel chassis and three point locking steel doors are designed to provide secure centralised management for mobile ICT devices, in a laptop trolley that lasts the test of time. The doors are mounted with a full height piano style hinge to minimise accessibility by thieves, and the flush design of the ClassBuddy™ laptop trolley has been achieved with recessed handles that allow for easier stowage. Separate keys are provided for the rear door, to inhibit access by unauthorised personnel, and an optional secure docking station can be provided to lock the laptop trolley to the floor or wall. Unlike other rival laptop trolleys, the ClassBuddy™ charges all devices horizontally to prevent wear and tear to laptops, netbooks and tablets when the charging cart is in motion.
