BSF- building in technology for the future.
25.09.2008
The Government’s £45 billion Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme aims to rebuild or renew every secondary school in England over a period of 10 to 15 years.
Local projects are being delivered through a Local Education Partnership (LEP) which is a public private partnership between the Local Authority (LA), Partnership for Schools (PfS) and a private sector partner. Each private sector partnership includes an IT Partner such as RM, DELL or Ramesys.
LAs are entering BSF in different waves (1 to 15). Currently financial investment is in wave 1 to 4 (LAs will have schools entering the project at different phases over the whole period of BSF).
