New at BETT 2012
As the UK’s expert in mobile computing, we always strive to meet and anticipate the needs of our customers in the education sector. At BETT 2012, we will be showcasing a new range of solutions to manage laptops, tablets, gaming devices and more on stand H39.
Our new to BETT products will include:
-
The USB Charging Case – Configurable to store and charge most USB devices, including the Nintendo DSi, the USB charger can safely charge a maximum of 16 gaming or other USB products. All devices are charged simultaneously, and the case uses low voltage charging for safety, with each lead individually fused. In July 2011 the Education Secretary, Michael Gove, emphasised that computer games should have a place in the modern curriculum to enhance both learning and teaching.
-
The UnoCart™ Sync and Charge Trolley for iPads - Designed to far exceed the abilities of its rivals at a competitive price, the UnoCart™ for iPads incorporates safe sync and charging for one MacBook or laptop in 16 and 32 bay iPad versions. The trolley charges tablets horizontally without pull out shelves, which can cause instability and risk the cabinet toppling over, and provides secure overnight storage with the facility to sync iPads using iTunes. With tablet computers providing an excellent medium to make learning more interactive, the UnoCart™ for iPads enables teachers to share these devices between classrooms in a safe, secure and fully mobile cabinet.
-
The Diplomat™ LMS – The UK’s first self-issuing laptop and tablet charging lockers using RFID technology, the Diplomat™ can be integrated into a new school build, or installed to stand freely in an existing building. The Diplomat™ provides students and teachers with individual access to secured and charged laptops or tablets using pin codes or smartcards, enabling schools to track and monitor equipment use. As well as enabling schools to tackle IT theft, The Diplomat™ is also perfect for students looking to store and charge their own personal laptops, rather than carry them around campus.
-
ClassBuddy™ - LapSafe® Products will showcase the new 30 bay version of the fast-selling low-cost laptop trolley that is light, compact and manoeuvrable. Launched at the BETT Show 2011, the ClassBuddy™ is proving a hit with schools, colleges and universities looking to safely secure, and horizontally charge, laptops, tablets and netbooks in an aesthetically pleasing metal laptop trolley.
-
The ExplorerLAB™ Mobile Science Lab – A fully functioning mobile laboratory, the ExplorerLAB™ mobile science cart is a revolutionary portable teaching platform to deliver interactive and experimental biology, chemistry and physics. The cart comes complete with all of the equipment usually found in a traditional laboratory compacted into a secure, robust and rust-free mobile cabinet to enable science to be taught in any classroom. The ExplorerLAB™ is perfect for primary schools that may not have dedicated science labs, for teachers looking for a quality demonstration unit or as a viable alternative for schools that cannot afford to refurbish their existing laboratories, following the decision not to reinstate Building Schools for the Future (BSF).
