LapSafe® Products at BETT: Event Schedule

This year we are running a series of educational events to enable teachers to learn from the best practice of others. Check out our schedule below to see what we will be up to on stand H39 at the BETT Show 2012. We’d love to see you there:

• Games-based learning workshop - Youngsters from St Peter and St Paul CE Primary School will be holding an interactive workshop to demonstrate the application of the Nintendo DSi for teaching and learning in maths and beyond. The short session will also showcase how the school uses the new portable USB Charging Case from LapSafe® Products to charge and store their gaming devices at 1.30pm Wednesday 11 January 2012.

• Science Busking - Science communicator for Science Made Simple, David Price will be performing science tricks and demonstrations using every-day materials to show how science relates to our daily lives. David has worked with the BBC and TV Show ‘Brainiac’ to organise science events for schools, and will be science busking throughout Thursday 12 January 2012, using the ExplorerLAB™ mobile science cart.

• Using the iPad in Education – Assistant Headteacher at Felsted School, an Apple Regional Training Centre, Dr Nick R Dennis will discuss using the iPad in the classroom and explain how his school use the UnoCart™ for iPads charging trolley at 11am Friday 13 January 2012.

• Practical Science Ideas – Demonstration of a series of classroom science experiments using the ExplorerLAB™ mobile science cart, a fully portable demonstration unit to teach interactive science. Stand H39 at 2pm Friday 13 January 2012.
