The Client
Clacton County High School is a mixed comprehensive school of approximately 1600 students aged between 11 and 18 years. In order to meet growing demand for access to ICT at the school they invested in five Mini Mentor™ mobile laptop management cabinets from LapSafe® Products.

The Solution
The LapSafe® cabinets have given Clacton County High School the flexibility and functionality they needed to support the use of ICT across the curriculum by providing a self contained mobile solution, whilst providing a high level of security for their valuable IT resource. Members of the teaching staff are very confident in the product and find it easy to use and highly reliable, working extremely well with their Ergo HardCase Pro 421 laptops. In particular they appreciate the SmartLine™ charging system, which makes the deployment of laptops into the classroom much quicker as there is no need to use the laptop's original AC adaptor.

The Future
A feature greatly appreciated by Jeff Brindle is the fact that LapSafe® cabinets can be upgraded as the school's needs change. He also sees great potential in moving away from dedicated ICT suites in favour of the more versatile option of laptops managed and shared using LapSafe® Cabinets.
