Do the charging lights in the Mentor™ 'S' and 'E' units always go off when the laptops are charged and will the light sequence be the same for all secure laptops?

Answer

LED indicator lights can be found next to each bay inside a trolley fitted with SmartLine™. The LEDs indicate the following when RED or GREEN:

  • RED LED indicates the laptop is charging (drawing a current).
  • GREEN LED indicates the laptop is fully charged (not drawing a current).

There are no individual LED lights located next to each bay in trolleys fitted with ChargeLine™. The external LED lights located above one of the doors indicate the following:

  • A single constant GREEN LED indicates that mains power is connected, however the laptops will not charge until the doors are shut.
  • GREEN and RED LEDs together indicate laptops charging.
